Wysocki Aiming to Join Elite Company

Only a select few players have been able to win the World Championship and USDGC in the same year. Of course, Paul McBeth finally accomplished this feat in 2015. Ricky Wysocki is having his best season ever and he is looking to add a USDGC title to his resume. I asked Wysocki what his main focus was going into this weekend.

“Looking forward to capping off a great season! I am ready for the event and I’m going to go out there and play my game, not focus or worry about anything else going on. No reason to since I’m going out there to do one thing, WIN!”

Wysocki’s reply sure does sound confident. I am looking forward to seeing how this weekend turns out. Can he join the elite company and win his first USDGC title?

Of course Wysocki is one of the favorites going into the weekend. The event has been promoted as Champion vs Champion and although we don’t get the luxury of live video, this years USDGC could be one of the most dramatic ever.
