Paul McBeth kicked off his season as he does most seasons. With a win. Going into the 3rd round with a 1 stroke advantage, McBeth pulled out the victory at the 38th Wintertime Open. Unfortunately the player who was 1 stroke back, Eagle McMahon, had to withdraw with a finger injury.
McBeth shot the only sub 50 score of the 3rd round (49) and went into the finals with an 8 stroke lead over Steve Rico and Philo Brathwaite. From there cruise control was enabled and he finished up by 7 strokes with a total score of 181 (-37). Rico finished at (-30).
Rounding out the top 5 were Philo (-28) in 3rd, Simon Lizotte (-19) in 4th and Chris Addiego (-15) in 5th.
Be sure to check out the monster Eagles thrown by Simon Lizotte
