Ricky Wysocki has been a top player for a while now and we love his game. He may be one of, if not the best, putter in the game. This past weekend he won the Maple Hill Open with help from two amazing putts. The first was a clutch 50 footer on the 13th hole and the second was an even better 70 footer with OB water directly behind the basket. These two putts kept him in the lead over Gregg Barsby and helped him secure the victory. The past few years at Maple Hill, Wysocki has found himself in a similar position on the final day. Twice he held the lead going into the 18th hole, and twice he found the OB going for the 18th green costing him the win.
This year, Wysocki exercised those demons. He held a 2 stroke lead going into the 18th hole allowing him to play safe and secure his first win at Maple Hill. Those were not the only demons he exercised on Sunday.

Wysocki scored a big win over Paul McBeth. Has he beaten McBeth at a tournament before? Probably. We’re talking about the shootout in the final round. The back and forth battle that they have every now and again. Going back to last years World Championships, the epic playoff ended when Wysocki clipped a tree on his approach shot allowing McBeth to claim his 3rd straight World Title. Wysocki was so close and he handled it well. This wasn’t a World Title, and it wasn’t air hockey but it was an NT and it was a win over the top player in the game.
