Is it an Ace to you?

So a while back I was out playing my local course. It wasn’t a very good round. We hit hole 17 and I reached for my beat in Champion Boss, which I always throw. Instead, I changed my mind and threw a DD Escape on a straighter line and parked it. I decided to throw, what we call, a giggle. A second shot that doesn’t count. Anyhow, I grabbed the Boss and threw it exactly how I wanted. It bangs the chains, ACE! Or is it?

To me, it is NOT an ace. I only count aces when I am able to put a “1” down on the scorecard. My buddy asked why I didn’t take a picture or anything, and I told him it wasn’t an ace. After posting on FB what happened, I got a lot of feedback of diferent opinion on whether or not it was an ace. I think not, what do you think? Comment below with your thoughts.
