We got our hands on the latest mid-range from Discmania yesterday. We went straight to the course with it and played a full round. The P-Line MD3 is nice mid range. Not too domey and stable enough for us to really snap into it. Being brand new, it had the stability but we could see this disc seasoning into a straight flyer with a lot of glide. In fact, if you have kept up with our “In The Mixed Bag” series, we may use the MD3 as a replacement for some of our other mid-ranges. The P-Line plastic feels very nice and familiar and we see this disc as a straighter Roc3. If you have a Roc3 and it seems to be a bit stable, you need to get your hands on the P-Line MD3 from Discmania.
Here is what Discmania has to say about the new P-Line MD3…
MD3 lovers rejoice! the P-LINE MD3 is here! It’s time to start cycling your mids, when we tested these we found we could beat them into straight flyers but they stayed there because of low sleek profile.
Designed with the power players in mind, the MD3 can handle a lot of power without flexing and always comes back down with a dependable fade. Great reliable midrange for all conditions. Compared to the Discmania hit midrange MD2, the MD3 is more stable both in high and in low speed. Grab yourself a pair – we bet you won’t be playing without one, once you’ve tried this out!
The P-LINE MD3 has a lower dome somewhat like the first run flat top Glow C-LINE MD3 European Open “Wolverine” fundraiser disc. These discs are straighter and wear in nice and even. If you’re used to being able to cycle midrange discs for your bag this disc is must try. Once you work in a set of these gems and pair it with our glow or C-LINE MD3 you can have only 1 midrange to do all the jobs in your bag.
